Life Enrichment Director

Michelle is responsible for the design and implementation of resident programming: Social, Emotional, Cognitive and Physical programs to enhance the health and well-being for all of our residents, with and without dementia.  She knows the area’s best musical entertainers, art instructors & fitness partners, our Worship leaders, lecturers from NECCO and the historical museums (Buttonwoods, Custom House Maritime Museum, etc..).  She is passionate about Merrimack Valley history, culture, and recreation with the residents and families, and believes that they ARE the back bone of Essex & Middlesex Counties, and significant contributors and consumers of life-long learning.  In early professional years, Michelle was the Executive Director of the Greater Merrimack Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau, Director of Marketing & Publications for Old Sturbridge Village; Executive Director of the North of Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau, and President of the Greater Lowell Boys & Girls Club.

Michelle lives in Lowell, has two sons, and follows her father’s advice, as suggested by Robert Frost,  ‘my goal in life is to unite my avocation with my vocation.  Michelle has a BA and MBA, and a certificate to instruct Tai Chi for Fall Prevention & Arthritis Control, as well as her Educator’s License in Massachusetts.
